Dr. Brian Hearing
Dr. Hearing joined DARPA in 2005. From 2000 to 2005 Dr. Hearing was with the Institute for Defense Analyses in Alexandria VA where he was a Research Staff Member. Dr. Hearing is responsible for a wide range of development activities related to the evolution of new, and exploitation of current, enabling technologies that would be of use to early entry and special operations forces. In particular, Dr. Hearing focuses on sensor technologies and systems for early entry/special operations forces in order to extend situational awareness while enabling clandestine operations. Dr. Hearing received a BS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and both a MS and PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
