Dr. Amy Vanderbilt

Program Manager

Bio:

Dr. Vanderbilt is focused on a wide range of revolutionary capabilities in support of the individual warfighter, deeply deployed small agile units, and overarching strategic issues. Areas of interest include network analysis, sensor alerting, wide area persistent surveillance, and cooperative security and engagement.

Dr. Vanderbilt joined DARPA in 2008 from Vanderbilt Consulting. Prior positions included Senior Research Scientist and then CTO at Wave Technologies Inc, Research Scientist at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Xavier University, and positions with the University of Florida and NASA’s SHARP program.

Dr. Vanderbilt holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics (Nonmonotonic Reasoning) from the University of Florida and is a noted author and speaker.
