Dr. Mark R. Luettgen
Program Manager
Bio:
Dr. Luettgen's background is in signal and image processing, estimation, optimization, control, and systems engineering. His research interests include multi-INT exploitation, object tracking and pattern analysis, and resource management for maritime, ground, and aerospace domains.
Dr. Luettgen joined DARPA in 2008. Prior to joining DARPA, he was Vice President, Fusion Technology and Systems at BAE Systems Advanced Information Technologies (formerly ALPHATECH) where he led a growing organization performing advanced R&D and systems development for Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and Intelligence community customers. Dr. Luettgen also held positions at Loral Infrared and Imaging Systems, Institute de Recherché en Informatique et Systemes Aleatoires (IRISA), Charles Stark Draper Laboratories, and Bell Communications Research (BELLCORE).
Dr. Luettgen holds Ph.D, E.E., M.S., and S.B. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.
