Mr. Lyndall Beamer
Program Manager
Bio:
Mr. Beamer's areas of interest are surveillance systems and their related countermeasures. He is the program manager for the WATCH IT, FORESTER and CCLR technology programs.
Prior to joining DARPA in 2005 Mr. Beamer was the Deputy Director of the Defense Policy Analysis Office and before that served as a member of the Defense Planning Guidance 04-09 Staff, Office of the Under Secretary for Policy. In the latter capacity he was the principal drafter for DoD planning guidance on intelligence, space, command and control and special operations mission areas. Mr. Beamer has also held the positions of Chief, Strategic Concept Division, Defense Intelligence Agency; Deputy, Office of Collection Planning; Chairman, Research and Development Committee of the National Intelligence Council’s Foreign Denial and Deception Committee; Assistant for Special Operations Intelligence, OASD SOLIC; Foreign Policy Analyst, Defense Technology Security Assistance Agency; Global Analyst, Army G2 Staff; Studies and Analysis Branch Chief; and Intelligence Analyst, Army INSCOM.
Mr. Beamer holds a B.A. in Economics from Indiana University and in addition completed the Post Graduate Intelligence Program of the Joint Military Intelligence College and the Senior Executive Development Program of the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
