DSO welcomes new technical ideas at any time from all public and private entities and is currently soliciting proposals for advanced research and development in a variety of enabling technical areas. Our Solicitations page provides information about current open solicitations, including DSO’s open BAA (BAA08-22). Before submitting a white paper or proposal, we encourage you to discuss your idea with a DSO Program Manager. In considering your idea, a Program Manager may ask several essential questions:*

If you are successful, what difference will it make?

What are the risks and payoffs?

How much will it cost? How long will it take?
